COCOSKIES | An art blog: Oslob

I was fortunate enough to visit the Whale Sharks again this year, this time I was better-equipped with a GoPro. Last time, the disposable camera I had kind of died on me. These were my favourite shots from the day. Just like last time I really enjoyed the experience, it's unlike anything else. You can't really tell from the pictures, but these creatures are huge - probably around 11 metres in length. Despite this, you never really feel as if you're in any danger.

  1. Awww it was just my family but I forgot to mention haha ^_^. If you ever get the chance you should, whale sharks are pretty safe to swim near. Swimming near a great white however, not sure I could do that, even if I was in a cage! x

  2. Oh wow that would've been crazy, they're massive! I think I would've been slightly scared haha.

  3. Haha, reminds me of this little comic -

Did you get to touch any of them? I heard that if you run your fingers the opposite way that their "scales" grow, it feels like sandpaper!

    Oh my goodness. That's terrifying!

Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment, I really appreciate it. I try to reply all of them so remember to check back.
