Paris

Macarons from Ladureé, brief stop at a coffee shop, Parisian buildings, more macarons, souvenirs, Eiffel tower late afternoon, my friend Kendal, venturing down french side streets, outside the Louvre and Disneyland Paris.
Although I only visited for two days, Paris was so lovely. I remember coming out of the Metro station and seeing the Eiffel Tower round the corner. I was in awe at how pretty it was. It almost felt like seeing a famous painting in real life. You just become so used to seeing landmarks in pictures, so naturally you're amazed when it's right there in front of you.

The people, the buildings, everything there was just so stylish but not in an overly-extravagant, in-your-face way. Ladurée's macarons were as good as I'd anticipated, I wish I could have brought some home but they would have either been crushed or eaten. I also went to Disneyland for the first time, it was teeming with prams but it was a great day out nonetheless. One problem, however, I have now acquired a pair of Minnie Mouse ears and I want to wear them all the time!

If I ever go back again, I'd love to visit Angelina's to try their legendary hot chocolate. It costs around €7.50, but you've got to try these things. Who's coming with me next time? :)

P.s. I've changed the site layout around a little, I hope you all like it :)
